Flu Vaccination Campaign 2020/2021
Flu vaccination appointments are now available to book at the practice. Please click the link below to request an appointment. All our Flu clinics are pre-booked appointments.
This year the flu vaccine is being offered on the NHS to:
- Adults 65 and over
- Pregnant women
- Those living with an underlying health condition, such as Chronic respiratory disease, such as Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Emphysema or Bronchitis. Chronic Heart Disease, such as heart failure. Chronic Kidney Disease. Chronic liver disease, such as hepatitis. Chronic Neurological conditions, such as Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), a learning disability or cerebral palsy. Diabetes. Spleen problems, for example, sickle cell disease or if you have had your spleen removed. A weakened immune system as the result of conditions such as HIV and AIDS, or medicines such as steroid tablets or chemotherapy. Being seriously overweight (a BMI of 40 or above).
- Frontline Health or Social Care worker
- Receive a carer’s allowance or are the main carer for an older or disabled person who may be at risk if you get sick
- Are in a long-stay residential care

Flu vaccinations for patients aged 50 – 64 years
