Due to the volume of normal results, we do not report on all normal results unless instructed by the clinician.
Please note, we request that you do not assume that a result is normal if we do not contact you.
Getting your test results
When you attend a test of any kind, you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. This is a guideline, and we ask that you wait this time before checking for your results.
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your SystmOnline account
- phone after 10.30am and we will tell you what the results are
- you can follow up your results using our online contact form
Questions about your results
